Hematologist/Oncologist needed in Michigan City, IN x000D 1 hour to Chicago, IL x000D Located on Beautiful Lake Michigan x000D x000D Full time, permanent x000D x000D Physician will have support of an experienced local team of colleagues and will have the opportunity to serve as a leader in the ongoing growth and development of the oncology service line in the Michigan City market area. x000D x000D Our full service, comprehensive cancer treatment center includes: x000D Infusion Center x000D Radiation Oncology with Trilogy Linear Accelerator and new TruBeam Linear Accelerator with Hyperarc and Identify x000D Neurosurgery and treatment on site x000D Physicist on site x000D Pharmacy onsite x000D Nurse Navigators x000D Research x000D Palliative Care NPs x000D Social Worker onsite x000D Monthly Tumor Board x000D x000D WHAT WE NEED: x000D Ideal candidate will have experience in Hematology Oncology, with a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidates will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Physicians will need to work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of care, displaying passion and energy for fostering an environment of clinical and service excellence. x000D x000D WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: x000D Hematology Oncology Board Certified x000D Clinic schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. x000D Physician will have 36 hours of patient contact weekly with possibility of 4 day work week x000D Weekday, Weekend and Holiday Call: 1:3 x000D Additional time off through the week when you have weekend call x000D Anticipated outpatient volume: patients per day x000D Common Cancer Diagnoses: x000D Breast x000D Colon x000D Lung x000D Rectal x000D Prostate x000D Benign Hematology conditions x000D
