Rohe Company is currently seeking Experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to work within various industries including: civil / heavy construction, roadway / highway, bridge, asphalt paving, asphalt milling, and commercial construction. Strong ability to muti-task and organizational skills to work in a fast paced construction environment. As safety is our concern, our employees must understand and comply with safety requirements. Ideal individuals must have good, safe, working experience. Rohe are embedded into our culture and our employees. - Operate equipment per plan and quality specifications as instructed by crew foreman / superintendent to ensure daily schedules / estimates are met. - Operator construction, asphalt paving, and milling equipment (Excavators, Asphalt / Concrete Pavers, Asphalt Rollers, Mills, Barco Mill, Street Sweepers, Tractor Brooms, Widening Box). - We will develop the right individuals that have some experience. - Labor on construction projects as needed. - Minor service / maintenance on equipment if applicable.- Prior experience working within construction / asphalt industry / roadway construction is a plus. Willing to train the right individuals. - Safety conscious. - Able to work as a team or independently. - Formal training or certifications relevant to position is a plus. - Valid driver's license. Equipment Operator Physical & Mental Demands: - Local travel traditionally. - Required overtime. - Seasonal layoffs. - Extensive physical activity. - Must work outdoors and in all weather conditions / terrain. - Could be asked to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. - Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
