Heavy Equipment Log Operator Summary Our North Garden, VA sawmill is hiring for a wheel loader/front loader operator. The positions primary responsibilities include moving various materials such as logs, cants, and packs of lumber. These are full time opportunities working for a world class hardwood lumber manufacturer. Front End Loader Operator Pay & Benefits First Shift Full Time Hours Overtime Hours and Pay Full Plan of Benefits Heavy Equipment Log Operator Responsibilities Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures Unload incoming log trucks and sort hardwood logs by species Keep up with sawmill operations and process flow by loading/unloading material on decks Ability to work independently Assist shipping dept as needed for various duties Capable of working efficiently/safe as well as keeping a high level of precision Heavy Equipment Log Operator Qualifications Previous experience as an equipment operator using a wheel loader or similar machine Must be self motivated and organized Willingness to work in outside environment and work overtime Please refer to the "Full Job Description" button below to review our physical demands form prior to applying to this position.
