We are seeking a Heavy Civil Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your expertise in project management, underground utilities, roadway, WWTP, and site work to a company that values innovation, quality, and teamwork. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the field and a passion for driving projects to successful completion.

Responsibilities:

As a Heavy Civil Project Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management from initiation to closure while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to our client's satisfaction.
2. Managing and supervising construction projects including roadway, underground utilities, and site work. WWTP experience a PLUS.
3. Coordinating with various teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectives and goals are met.
4. Preparing and presenting project proposals, reports, and findings to the senior management team.
5. Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and maintaining safety on the site.
6. Developing and implementing project strategies and schedules, and ensuring resources are available and allocated.
7. Identifying and managing project risks and issues, and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
8. Building and maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in the heavy civil construction industry.
2. Proven experience in managing projects related to roadway, underground utilities, and site work.
3. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve project goals.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
6. Proficiency in project management software tools.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
8. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
9. A professional Project Management certification would be an asset.
