Interested in understanding the impact of state-of-the-art healthcare? As a healthcare research analyst, you would be responsible for building cost-effectiveness disease models to quantify the impact that patients receive through Grand Rounds. This would involve researching possible health outcomes & events for a given medical condition, digging into academic medical literature to derive disease model inputs, and ultimately quantifying the costs associated with different treatment decisions. You would work closely with the analytics group and in-house physicians and have the opportunity to both deepen your understanding of healthcare and gain valuable analytical skills. We're looking for potential here: a passion for healthcare, an eagerness to dive into the details behind different diseases and treatment paths, and the desire to do whatever it takes to help the team Responsibilities: Research academic medical literature to understand the health outcomes & events associated with different medical conditions Build cost-effectiveness models for each patient population who receives care through our services Identify ways to scale the methodologies used to assess cost-effectiveness Requirements: Strong undergraduate performance (high G.P.A., difficult coursework, etc.) Background in medical or biological sciences, public health, or other science-related field Excellent quantitative and analytical instincts No minimum work experience This is a full time position located in San Francisco, CA.
