The Headlines: In the role of Health and Wellness Specialist working in the Albany Brewery you will be part of the Environmental Health and Safety network. This position provides medical and health management, delivery of health services and supports employees and family by overseeing progress through health care process. In this role you will oversee and implements health services to ill/injured employees, including workers' compensation, medical first response, and return-to-work programs. In addition, you will manage the occupational health testing and surveillance, and employee wellness initiatives. This role works closely with site safety, human resources, operations and others in the identification and correction of risks and maintaining compliance with various federal and state regulations. This position reports to Manager of Safety and works closely with other leadership within the Brewery. The Responsibilities: Oversees and manages the workers' compensation program, including providing case management and advocacy for employee as appropriate Provides oversight for the site's Medical First Response program Provides clinical review and consultation to human resources on the management of the Family Medical Leave program Manages and coordinates return to work program Manages the Occupational Health Testing and Surveillance program Manages and delivers clinical care Develops and manages site employee wellness program Supports team performance and creates a culture of employee engagement Provides support to additional locations as an active member of the Environmental, Health and Safety network Worker's Compensation Panel annual update Other tasks that may be associated with H&W Required Qualifications: BS or BA in Nursing Current state license in location(s) of employment Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Minimum of five (5) years' experience in occupational health, ergonomics, safety or other related subject required Minimum of five (5) years' experience in workers' compensation case management Preferred qualifications include: ABOHN, COHN, CMM, CRR, CIRS and CRH Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, industrial wellness programs and worker's compensation process and practices Knowledge of OSHA compliance requirements and other industrial safety and health standards Work Perks that You Need to Know About: As the world's family brewer we have the scale to make big things happen and still get to know colleagues on a first name basis across the globe We play our part to make a difference - from charitable donations to hitting the streets together to build parks - giving back to the community is part of our culture and who we are Access to cool brand clothing and swag, top events, beer allotment, an Employee Assistance Program and discount plans Participation in our Total Rewards program with a competitive base salary, incentive plans, parental leave, health, dental and other benefits Work within a fast paced and innovative company, meeting passionate colleagues and partners with diverse backgrounds and experiences At Molson Coors we seek diversity.
