The role reports to the HSE Manager and is located in Mebane, North Carolina. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) keeps the facility compliant with Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security requirements in a dynamic and ever-changing world of laws, regulations, and corporate expectations Your responsibilities Learning and training system alignment with business and site expectations Review and updating of Fall Protection Risk Assessments Review and updating of equipment specific Lockout/Tagout procedures Review and support the implementation of the HSE management system Gain a broad understanding and overview of the HSE&S field Champion for Safety culture and engagement Build relationships with people leaders and employees; empower them to proactively find and resolve potential safety concerns Your background Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in engineering, environmental science, health and safety or a science related field, in the United States Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress More about us We look forward to receiving your application.
