RRNA is currently looking for a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Sr Analyst to support the RRNA construction, operations & maintenance, and the company's HSE initiatives. Repsol has an opening for a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Sr Analyst to support the RRNA construction, operations & maintenance, and the company's HSE initiatives. The position will split time between our office in The Woodlands, TX and working at the project site (50% travel). When in office, we follow a hybrid work model with three days in the office and two days working remotely. Objective The HSE, Sr Analyst will have the exciting opportunity to drive an injury and environmental incident free HSE culture in a fast-growing organization. Under the supervision of the HSE Manager you will partner with the various RRNA teams, to ensure our projects are following all required protocols and creating a positive environment for the safety of our employees, contractors, the environment, and RRNA's assets. It is required to establish and maintain clear lines of communication with internal customers, contractors, and subcontractors, maintain awareness of project HSE needs/issues and address these with the appropriate RRNA team. Responsibilities Prepare HSE policy and guidelines, ensuring that they conform to regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Clear capacity to identify and manage risks/hazards related to construction, commissioning, and operations of renewable energy projects. Develop and maintain site-specific documentation and templates that include a HSE manual, hazard and risk assessments, emergency response plans, PPE assessments, safe work planning, and site access. Participates and/or leads in HSE related discussions at site toolbox talks, contractor and RRNA staff meetings. Organize and deliver HSE training. Coordinate with RRNA Engineering & Construction team and the EPC contractor to assist and enhance their HSE competency and delivery. Perform HSE audits and inspections on project construction site to verify consistency with RRNA HSE requirements, regulatory requirements, and the contractor HSE management plan. Coordinates and assist RRNA Site Manager with incident investigations to determine root cause and recommend corrective actions. Prepare and submit HSE reports and records on weekly/monthly basis. Coordinate and carry out drills and exercises on how to manage emergency situations. Perform HSE tasks or other duties as required. Required Qualifications Authorized to work in the USA for any employer without the need for sponsorship. A minimum of a BS degree in engineering, environmental science or other HSE related technical discipline from an accredited college/university. Must have 5+ years of HSE program development, implementation, training, and leadership experience. Experience in renewable energy or electric power generation Willingness to travel (up to 50%). Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and various State regulations. Strong knowledge of renewable power generation, construction, and operations HSE standards. Strong knowledge in electrical safety and high voltage including OSHA and NFPA 70, 70E compliance. Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools. Ability to effectively communicate findings, corrective actions, and lessons learned. Strong planning and organizational skills as well as the ability to promote teamwork. Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks and work independently under general supervision. Passion for renewable energy and an entrepreneurial mindset are greatly appreciated.
