Health Information Technician I

POSITION SUMMARY: Health Information I is responsible for processing medical records, paper and electronic. This position provides customer service through release of information and the reporting of birth data to the State of Alaska. This position is responsible for document imaging, and supports other departments through various electronic work queues. This role works with multiple software systems. REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED. College level coursework. Two general clerical experience in a medical office. Completion of a 2-year college level accredited HIT Program may substitute work experience.
