seeking a highly qualified associate with at least six years of strong health care transactional experience to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, top-tier health care practice renowned for its integrated professional services approach.
We are looking for candidates who have a strong interest in and enthusiasm for health care issues and trends. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience in health care transactional matters, including provider and health plan mergers and acquisitions, affiliations, joint venture transactions, and private equity deals. Experience with health industry contracting, state licensure and corporate governance is preferred. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated regulatory experience in the areas of fraud and abuse, state licensure, corporate practice of medicine/fee splitting rules, managed care, and health care antitrust.
Requirements- At least six years of strong health care transactional experience, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and joint ventures for health care stakeholders
- Strong interest in and enthusiasm for health care issues and trends and a strong health care regulatory background
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail; excellent legal research and analytical skills
- Effective and efficient problem-solving capabilities with the ability to work independently and proactively and to develop creative solutions to meet client and team needs
- California Bar membership in good standing.
