The role: Health and Well-being Analyst (Open to Location) We are looking for an individual to support our health, well-being, and other benefit programs in the US. They will report to our Senior Manager, Health & Well-being, and will work closely with our People Business Partners, Payroll, Operations, Legal, and Finance teams along with external vendors and insurers. This person will assist our people first culture by supporting employee benefit offerings that are competitive, compliant, scalable, and fiscally responsible. Our new colleague should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be comfortable in a large, matrixed, multi-state organization and very knowledgeable about the Federal and State laws that impact benefits (ERISA, IRS, etc.). This person will utilize their knowledge of benefit administration, HR, and payroll systems to support the smooth operation of benefit plans. This person will also utilize their knowledge and experience of health and well-being in coordination with our external partners to guide our business and cultural needs. This person will work closely with other Benefit, Operations, and Business colleagues to drive the day-to-day administration of our benefit plans, while also identifying potential process enhancements to our offerings as we grow. Further growth opportunities will be an expanded role in benefits, global work, and the opportunity to support our Benefits and HR functions in the future. This position can be based at any of Slalom's offices in the US with a preference for candidates based in Seattle, WA. Coordinate the integration, administration, reconciliation, and reporting between Slalom's external benefit partners and internal HR Operations and Payroll systems. Provide strong customer service for our colleagues with respect to complex benefit issues. Utilize your benefits and operations knowledge to identify areas of improvement. Partner with third party administrators on areas of efficiency to improve the overall employee experience. Independently engage with third party vendors to address benefit issues that may arise. Review questions submitted by colleagues, determine best way to handle the topic, and communicate the answer accurately, clearly, and timely. Play a critical role in compliance reporting and audit processes. Assists in the implementation of new benefits plans, and other related initiatives. Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices. In partnership with your Benefit Teams, support other projects and initiatives as assigned. Have a passion for learning and ability to take on new challenges within global benefits as needs arise. What we'd like from you: Comprehensive understanding of health & well-being, in a large, multi-state organization, or supporting one in an HR or consulting role. Experience with HR systems and payroll systems, such as Workday (preferred), and how benefit programs integrate with them on a day-to-day basis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong customer service skills. Strong MS Excel skills and proficiency in PowerPoint. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience auditing and reconciling payroll benefit deductions and invoices. Interest and ability to develop and take on projects in other areas within employee benefits. Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary range is $56,000 to $70,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
