Now Hiring - Head Pharmacy Technician - Partners Pharmacy New Jersey 50 Lawrence Road Springfield New Jersey 07081

Hours: Mon-Fri 6-2:30pm; every other weekend Sa-Su 6-2:30pm; 2 major and 1 minor holiday

The Head Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Manage pharmacy technician workflow & assure quality standards are maintained
Assist in performing supervisory duties/tasks as it relates to Pharmacy Technicians alongside Pharm Technician Supervisor, Operations Manager (if applicable), and/or Director of Pharmacy
Handle issues as they arise that requires assistance of RPh, Order Entry Tech, or Call Center Tech
Able to do all roles and responsibilities of a Floor Technician
Maintain prescription prioritization throughout prescription processing
Maintain a clean, organized and professional pharmacy department
Access, input and retrieve information to/from the computer
Stand for extended periods of time
Utilize appropriate report(s) to maintain replenishment
Run the floor in absence of Supervisor/Manager
Comply with all federal and state laws, rules and regulations
Comply with company policy and procedures at all times

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Professional Experience:

Current Pharmacy Technician registration and/or PTCB license
Experience in long term care or retail pharmacy environment
Experience in Frameworks, a definite plus
Communication, problem solving and organizational skills a must.
Knowledge of prescription plans and rejections.
Must be able to work in a fast pace environment and meet deadlines.
Typing, computer and multi-tasking skills are a must.
Strong customer service skills
