SUMMARY
The Head of Total Rewards will manage all Total Rewards activities for North America in alignment with the global strategy and lead the regional team covering Monetary Rewards, Non-Monetary Benefits, and Mobility / Immigration.

- Manage all Total Rewards activities for North America in alignment with the global strategy.
- Lead the regional team covering Monetary Rewards, Non-Monetary Benefits, and Mobility / Immigration.
- Translate global Total Rewards strategy into concepts, methods, and processes to meet regional specific needs.
- Prepare and steer annual and off cycle salary review processes within the respective region in alignment with the global Total Rewards.
- Lead and work on projects to proactively develop the attractiveness of remuneration.
- Serve as the main point of contact for regional leadership teams, Human Resources, and external vendors for Total Rewards related inquires.
- In strong collaboration with HR Business Partner advise the business on Total Rewards program based on the employee lifecycle.
- Develop specifications for new plans and modify existing plans to maintain MAHLE's competitive position in the market.
- Work closely with brokers and consultants to assess all benefit programs and market trends, make recommendations to the North American Leadership Team to modify or add new plans.
- Ensure compliance with government requirements with reporting, filing, regulation changes, documentation, and communication for health / welfare plans
- Ensure proper work authorization is maintained for all employees in the region
- Track respective KPIs for North America to determine overall regional performance
- All other duties and projects as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for managing a team.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field is required
- Minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in Total Rewards, preferably in an international manufacturing environment
- Previous experience leading in Total Rewards function is strongly preferred
- Experience in job architecture design, grading and steering projects
- Expert knowledge in Strategic Total Rewards
- Understanding in different cultures and working across organizational, functional and geographic boundaries
- Strong leadership skills with intercultural and diverse teams
- Good team player who is self-driven, service and result oriented personality
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Domestic/international travel with/without overnight stay and for extended periods of time, is required.
