Head of Supplier Governance Regulatory Strategy

Our team has responsibility for leading our supplier governance processes across our supply chain. This includes partnering with our security, trade compliance, and public policy experts to understand future regulatory requirements for which our supply chain processes remain subject to.

This senior leadership role requires the individual to lead the development and implementation of our AWS supply chain regulatory strategy. You'll develop a close rapport with subject matter experts across supply chain and our legal partners to understand the roadmap for regulatory compliance and customer audits. The desired individual must have knowledge of supply chain regulations, sourcing strategies, configuration management, and supply chain. They should have strong program management skills, and a demonstrated ability to lead. This individual will be expected to act as a single threaded owner for regulatory strategy, including customer audits, as well as solve complex supply chain issues, establish patterns and practices, and provide domain leadership to the entire team. Success in the role requires extensive supply chain, operational, and process knowledge.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 10+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 10+ years of supply chain regulatory experience including audit response

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 12+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $141,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
