Your opportunity: Head of Sales to lead our sales team as the first Sales leader. This role is open as part of the company's strategic growth plan to add a layer of management between owners and the sales team, to elevate the sales department.

Head of Sales - Your Job Duties

You will lead the sales strategy and team as the Head of the Sales department, from strategy setting to team deployment.

  • Management, mentorship, training (ie roleplays), coaching ongoing performance of the sales team
  • Establish a sales strategy and implement it, with the goal of increasing revenue by 50% through cross-selling, expanding non-core services and launching new service areas
  • Analyze current sales processes (including client acquisition, brand recognition, sales materials), identifying areas for improvement in support of the company sales goals and overall sales strategy you establish and implement
  • Establish and monitor sales KPIs (ie: client acquisition cost, team performance) including creating a sales KPI dashboard
  • Improve and reinforce alignment between Sales / Production team and Account Management team, collaborating closely with the Head of Accounts Management

Head of Sales - Required Skills, Experience & Culture Fit

You are:

  • Experienced in the commercial insurance industry
  • Experienced leading and managing a team - you enjoy working with others to remove obstacles to their success, mentoring and driving excellence
  • Excited to make your mark, bring process improvements and expand company footprint

Head of Sales - You Might Have (Desired, Not Required)

  • Experience with commercial agriculture, crop or farming insurance
  • Certified Insurance Counselor certification

Compensation $160,000 to $180,000 + salary plus incentive compensation plan. Anticipated OTE $220,000 +.
