About this Position:

Head of Product develops and drives the product vision and strategy. The Head of Product represents the voice of the customer and a key member of the leadership team through a deep understanding of the target market/industry and close relationships with key stakeholders. Owns definition of the product vision, business strategy related to the product and roadmap, provides continuous feedback to product and tech teams, and helps teams to follow through on the product vision and roadmap. The Head of Product's primary responsibility is to ensure customer centricity and that the team knows what they are expected to build at the right level of detail.


Responsibilities include:

  • Define the overall product vision and drive the roadmap and backlog
  • Oversee the P&L of the product to look to drive improvements in top-line growth while managing expenses to deliver product offering efficiently
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with all key stakeholders (internally across all departments and externally with users, partners, etc.)
  • Determine and track critical KPIs to monitor performance and inform priorities for product improvements
  • Monitor and track industry trends to identify critical insights to inform our product offering
  • Effectively mobilize and coordinate product delivery and execution across all key departments (technology, marketing, operations, finance, etc.) to ensure exceptional execution and effective teaming
  • Works closely with the GM to establish each product's business value and support messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary
  • Define and drive an effective agile process for the business' operating model
  • Building an ecosystem for a Fleet as a Service (FaaS) business model
  • Will help leverage Honda's infrastructure and know how to accelerate into market


Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:

  • 10+ years of Product Management experience
  • Experience in a start-up / GTM strategies
  • 5+ years of experience leading other leaders as direct reports
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of standard Product Management practices, technology and supporting industry principles
  • Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams from tech, design, and business
  • Experience with B2B and B2C product delivery in the automotive, parcel delivery or mobility space
  • Understanding of new model / vehicle design, development and cycles preferred
  • Preference for knowledge of the parcel delivery space (i.e., terms, practices, and procedures)
  • Preference for understanding of micro-mobility and parcel delivery industries
  • Experienced in facilitating agile ceremonies, managing a backlog/release plan, tracking team level metrics, removing blockers (burndown chart, release burn up, etc.)
  • Deep experience leading with teams in an agile setting, has worked with engineering and cross functional teams
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams, set clear goals and objectives, and ensure that the product development process stays on track

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or related field
  • Masters/Graduate degree preferred

  • Ability to manage competing priorities across stakeholders and constraints (time, budget, scope)
