The Head of GTM Digital Innovation is responsible for leading the development and implementation of GTM strategies, using digital innovation to reshape and enhance the commercialization process. This role is pivotal in driving future-focused GTM concepts, including horizon 3 ideation and proofs of concept for inside sales, sales representatives, and sales copilot initiatives.
  • Craft and execute visionary go-to-market strategies that incorporate digital advancements to redefine sales and marketing approaches.
  • Lead horizon 3 ideation, exploring and testing groundbreaking concepts that can transform Takeda's sales methodologies.
  • Develop and implement proofs of concept for innovative digital sales tools, such as sales copilot programs, to optimize the salesforce's efficiency and effectiveness.
  • GTM digital strategy leadership: Set a clear direction for incorporating digital solutions into Takeda's go-to-market plans, focusing on adopting innovative technologies.
  • Innovation Development: Manage the creation of new digital GTM concepts, ensuring they have potential for growth and can be effectively implemented.
  • Digital sales initiatives: Pilot and scale digital initiatives, like sales copilot and enhanced inside sales models, to increase market penetration and customer engagement.
  • Cross-functional synergy: Work closely with marketing, sales, IT, and product teams to ensure integrated and seamless deployment of digital GTM innovations.
  • GTM digital training and enablement: Ensure sales and marketing teams are well-equipped with the knowledge and tools required for the adoption of digital innovations in gtm strategies.
  • Performance metrics and analytics: Define and analyze key performance indicators to measure the success and impact of GTM digital innovation initiatives.
  • Market trend analysis and responsiveness: continuously monitor and respond to evolving market trends, adapting GTM strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Stakeholder engagement and communication: Communicate effectively with teams and external partners, making sure digital initiatives support Takeda's overall business and meet customer expectations.
  • Compliance and best practices: Ensure all digital sales activities adhere to industry standards and drive best practice.

  • Vision and Strategy: Develop a clear vision for the digital transformation of the company and articulate a compelling strategy that aligns with the overall business objectives.   • Business Alignment: Ensure that the data, digital, and technology strategy is closely aligned with the company's business goals and objectives. Collaborate with key stakeholders across different functions to understand their needs and priorities, and translate them into actionable technology initiatives that deliver value to the organization.
  • People Management: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to foster their professional growth and development. Create a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate the data, digital, and technology strategy to all levels of the organization, including executives, managers, and employees. Clearly articulate the benefits, challenges, and impact of the strategy, and ensure that everyone understands their role in its execution. Foster open and transparent communication channels to encourage feedback and collaboration.
  • Influencing Others: Influence and inspire key stakeholders to embrace the digital transformation journey. Build strong relationships with executives, department heads, and external partners to gain their support and commitment. Demonstrate the value and potential of data, digital, and technology initiatives through compelling storytelling and evidence-based arguments.
  • Managing Change: Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption and implementation of new technologies and processes. Anticipate and address potential resistance or challenges, and develop strategies to overcome them.
