We are seeking a Head of Business Value Consulting to lead our Business Value Consulting Team. This leader will work closely with both the Head of Enterprise Sales and Head of Solutions to understand their account mix and sales opportunities to best support their patch. This is a unique opportunity to join a team, representing a blend of frontline execution and long-term strategic thinking.

This role can either be fully remote depending on which US state you live in, or based in our San Francisco, Chicago or New York office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. If based in-office: The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What you'll be responsible for

  • Custom business cases: Co-create custom business cases to drive strategic customer relationships
  • Narrative creation: Lead content and narrative strategy for Executive meetings
  • Business value consulting: Align Asana's value drivers to customer's unique goals, strategic priorities, and challenges to justify significant investment Financial analysis: Conduct analysis of financial and operational data to identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost reduction, and performance improvement

What you'll achieve

  • People Leadership: Support long term employee success with a focus on coaching, development, and building a high performance team, including hiring and retaining talent
  • Customer Success: Support enterprise accounts across all steps in the customer lifecycle, from strategic alignment, project justification, and commercial proposals to measuring the realized value of targeted business outcomes
  • Sales Partnership: Work closely with internal sales teams and other functions to help define account strategies and prioritize sales initiatives, based on value creation potential and opportunity size
  • Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership, training, and consultative partnering with internal sales and other teams throughout and beyond the sales cycle
  • Process Improvement: Manage and/or sponsor initiatives across Business Strategy teams to strengthen the execution and capabilities of our organization.
  • Organizational Impact: Execute cross-functional programs to improve our customers' experience and enable our customers' success.
  • Player /Coach: This position will require the leader to be a player-coach at times, therefore the candidate must possess the ability to perform both the Manager responsibilities and the Individual contributor responsibilities at a high level.

About You

  • Have experiences leading and scaling a Business Value and/or Value Engineering team
  • Have shown capabilities in change management and process improvement
  • Possess 15+ years of professional experience
  • Comfortable leading and executing initiatives, handling conflicting demands creatively and quickly
  • Proven ability to engage and add value in technology and business strategy discussions
  • Experience working collaboratively particularly with Sales, Solution Engineering, Pricing, Industry teams

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $199,500 - $269,500. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
