1st Choice is currently seeking a Payment Administrator Supervisor in Bethesda, Maryland. The Payment Administrator Supervisor needs motivational skills to manage the entire team of cashiers and any other staff. Because a Payment Administrator Supervisor spends so much time interacting with customers, their customer service skills must be second to none. The Supervisor customer service skills should be what the other cashiers look to as an example. To facilitate the best experience for customers, the supervisor must be able to organize effectively. This includes being able to analyze likely busy times and scheduling the necessary cashiers for those times.


Hours of Operations

  • Monday thru Friday 7:30 am to 4:00pm
  • Rate $20.00- Negotiable

Job Responsibilities:
  • Establishing a positive work environment for all employees
  • Assisting customers with purchasing items
  • Preparing reports for every cash register
  • Assisting other cashiers when necessary
  • Resolving issues with point-of-sale (POS) systems
  • Ensuring clean workspaces
  • Being the point of contact for customer service employees
  • Interacting with customers and determining their needs
  • Performing price checks
  • Overseeing employee breaks, especially during busy periods
  • Resolving customer challenges and issues
  • Cashing out registers
Qualifications:
  • Completion of a high school program or a corresponding certification is obligatory
  • Competent handling of transactions, providing exact change, and conducting proper payment processing, is a direct manifestation of an individual's proficiency in basic math
  • Experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash registers is commonly mandatory
  • The ability to pay close attention to detail is a critical skill for cashiers as they play a crucial role in handling transactions, maintaining financial records, and preventing errors

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Ability to work well with the public and to view problems from the customer's perspective
  • Technical and organizational skills
  • Bilingual a plus but not required

Successful candidates must successfully pass a background and drug screening.
