Our client, is a New York-based nonprofit is looking for an HASA Crown Program Director

Position Type: Perm/ Full-Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Location: Bronx, NY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure that the program meets licensing requirements and all appropriate directives and policy guidelines of the New York State Department of Social Services, New York City Human Resources Administration and designated agencies of New York.

Assume complete responsibility for the continuous direction and day to day operations of all project components.

Conduct document supervision and staff meetings on a regular basis but at least monthly. Document to be submitted to Associate Executive Director.

Ensure that a system of reporting is used in assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of both the staff and the program.

Develop forms, manuals and procedural changes to enhance accuracy and consistency.

Perform systematic internal audit of files and data to determine compliance with established policies and procedures.

Submit Monthly Report in format provided to Executive Director/CEO and Associate Executive Director by the 3rd of the following month.

Work on special project such as request for proposals (RFP).

Direct Supervisor of four (4) middle management staff.

Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Master's Degree in Social Work or Public Administration, with at least five (5) years experience in agency or program management in an administrative or supervisory position.

Knowledge of personal computer applications an asset, as well as experience in community based program operations.

Knowledge of services to AIDS and substance abusing populations.

Ability to relate and adjust to various levels of human interactions.

LMSW or LCSW required and experience in management.
