Hardware/Software Installation Technician Intermediate with Security Clearance

Hardware/Software Installation Technician Intermediate enGenius is looking for Hardware/Software Installation Technicians for a prospective DOD contract within the National Capital Region. A contract award is expected in January 2024 and will entail support to the Joint Service Provider (JSP) providing IT products, services, and solutions. Location: Pentagon, Arlington, VA, National Capital Region (NCR) - ONSITE Salary Range (commensurate with experience and qualifications): $72,000 - $86,000/yearly Critical Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or 5 or more years direct relevant experience.

• Favorably adjudicated Tier 5 investigation and Active Top-Secret clearance.

• DODI 8570.1M IAT Level 2 certification (CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP). Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and maintain computer equipment and related devices such as desktops and laptops for a DOD organization's staff. Installs, configures, diagnoses, rectifies, and upgrades computer hardware and peripheral devices. Receives and responds to incoming calls and e-mails regarding complex computer hardware problems. Monitors computer performance and documents instances of hardware failure, repair, and replacement installation. Aids in the development of strategies for meeting future computer hardware needs and supports the implementation of new hardware installations. May troubleshoot associated end-user software and networked software products.
• Issue, update, troubleshoot and replace end-user computer systems.

• Work in a hands-on technical capacity on site.

• Adhere to schedules and due-dates.

• Maintain accurate records and document all contract actions.
