Job Description Job Description HAP Crew Member Job Description Job Position Overview: As a Lawn Care Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of lawns and landscapes for senior residential and commercial properties within the Township. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of lawn care techniques, and the ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently. The Township will provide comprehensive training and necessary equipment to ensure proficiency in these skills for the hired candidates. You will have the opportunity to develop and refine various skills, including team building, efficiency in lawn services, organizational abilities, time management, and customer service. Applicants that apply as a HAP Driver in addition to a HAP member are to receive added incentive. Key Responsibilities:1. Lawn Maintenance: Perform all operations tasks including mowing, line trimming, blowing, leaf and debris removal, weeding, edging, and raking. 2. Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including lawn mowers, and trimmers, Ensure equipment is professionally cleaned, serviced, and stored after each use. Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment when operating machinery. 3. Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and effectively. Provide recommendations and advice on lawn care and landscaping practices to customers. 4. Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including services rendered, materials used, and hours worked. Submit reports to supervisors or clients detailing completed work and any issues encountered. Keep inventory of supplies and equipment and request replenishment as needed. 5. Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication and customer service skills. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record may be required. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and work in various weather conditions. The HAP Lawn Care Technician plays a vital role in enhancing the appearance and value of properties of the community through meticulous lawn maintenance and landscaping services.
