We have an urgent long-term opening with one of our key clients for a position of Guidewire Claim Center Tech Lead, to work in Houston, TX/ Morristown, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, on a Hybrid basis.
Responsibilities:
As a Guidewire Claim Center Tech Lead, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in Guidewire Claims Center integration and configuration development. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leveraging your extensive experience in the IT field, with a focus on Guidewire Claims Center, to lead integration and configuration development roles.
- Leading and delivering at least two end-to-end Claims product implementations within the Commercial Insurance space.
- Taking ownership of the Guidewire Claims Center production environment, including providing end-to-end support for the Guidewire Claims Center ecosystem.
- Demonstrating expertise in Guidewire APIs, GX Model, and Product Models to drive efficient and effective development.
- Managing technical ownership of internal and external integrations within Guidewire Claims Center, ensuring seamless connectivity and functionality.
- Utilizing hands-on experience and deep knowledge with Apache Tomcat or similar application servers to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Applying your strong development experience with J2EE, Tomcat, XML/Web Services, and RDBMS (SQL Server preferred) to develop robust solutions.
- Demonstrating proficiency in Java and GOSU programming, with a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Development (OODD) principles.
- Developing and implementing Batch Processes, Message Queues, and Event Messaging within Guidewire Claims Center to enhance system functionality.
- Leading product migrations and conversions by developing migration utilities leveraging Claims Center APIs, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
- Experience with DevSecOps and establishing/managing CI/CD pipelines for Claims build/deployments, ensuring continuous integration and delivery practices.
Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in the IT field, with at least 7 years focused on Guidewire Claims Center in integration/configuration development roles.
- Prior technical leadership experience delivering at least two end-to-end Claims product implementations within the Commercial Insurance space.
- Technical ownership of Guidewire Claims Center production environments, with a strong understanding of the ecosystem.
- Expertise in Guidewire APIs, GX Model, and Product Models to drive efficient development and integration.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Tomcat or similar application servers.
- Proficiency in J2EE, Tomcat, XML/Web Services, and RDBMS (SQL Server preferred).
- Strong development experience with Java and GOSU programming languages.
