Our client in Portsmouth, NH is seeking experienced Group Leads for their food production line. Excellent pay, temp to hire role. The group lead is required to wear protective gear such as safety glasses, shoes, coat, etc. during their shifts.
Responsibilities:
• Observe operations and inspect packaged items for conformance with specifications.
• Identifies equipment malfunctions and repair needs, and makes minor adjustments in the computerized programing. Escalates repairs to Maintenance Department.
• Ensures proper supply of materials to optimize line efficiency
• Ensures proper documentation of quality and efficiency measurements
• Assures proper packaging area/line staffing to maintain labor efficiency
• Coordinates packaging line changeovers
• Demonstrates proper packaging tasks to team
Desired Background/Skills:
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) and two to three years experience in a related field
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in spoken English.
• Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
Other Information:
2nd shift: 3:454pm-11:45pm
Mon-Fri $25/hour
Overtime Required; some Saturday overtime prescheduled into the year
