Our client, who is a global leader in the CX and contact center space, is seeking a heavily technical Software Engineering Group Lead
In this position you will play a pivotal role guiding a team of 6+ software engineers while also engaging in day-to-day, hands-on coding
Ideal candidates will have experience in the speech processing domain and a knack for designing systems that can handle extreme scale

Software Engineering Group Lead Role and Responsibilities
•  Assisting with the design and architecture of new software while managing the full software development lifecycle
•  Defining roadmaps and build schedules for your teams
•  Delivering new algorithms, libraries, reference implementations and tools for innovative capabilities to downstream consumers rapidly and on-time
•  Working as a people manager overseeing development teams or other managers in your organization
•  Hiring, mentoring and retaining top talent
•  Cultivating relationships with Product Management and other stakeholders
•  Fostering a culture of innovation and creativity within the software development group Software Engineering Group Lead Required Skills and Qualifications
•  10+ years of hands-on software development experience (C , Python, C )
•  5+ years of people management experience
•  Knowledge of all aspects of the enterprise software product life cycle - design, build, test, delivery and support
•  Familiarity with Jira, Confluence (or similar ALM) and source control packages and methodology
•  Experience deploying software on both windows and Linux systems
•  BS or MS in Computer Science or related degree
