As the Grants Manager, you will:

  • Oversee the grants management lifecycle, including criteria setting, evaluation, financial reporting, budget management, and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to donor rules and regulations, enhancing our integrity and effectiveness in grant administration.
  • Conduct thorough reviews and approvals of procurement documents and payment requests within your authority.
  • Travel internationally 3-4 times a year to engage with field offices and donors, ensuring our projects' success and compliance.

What the organization needs in a Grants Manager:

  • A professional with a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, NGO management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Someone with 3-5 years of experience in grants management, preferably with U.S. Government entities (e.g., USAID, DOS), foundations, and private donors.
  • An individual with a proven track record in award administration, compliance, and policy development, demonstrating a keen understanding of federal compliance requirements.
  • A candidate proficient in MS Excel and familiar with accounting software.
