CFS is working with a client of ours which is a school district office. They are needing to bring in a Grant Accountant to join their busy team. The school district has great leadership that likes to recognize the employees. There is a lot of exposure to working directly with the Accounting Manager within the organization.
Grant Accountant Responsibilities:
- Working in the general ledger
- Grant writing
- Grant reporting for their three locations and district office
- Creating workbooks in excel
- Data entry
Qualifications Preferred for the Grant Accountant:
- Knowledge of working with federal grants is a must
- Basic Excel/familiar working with various accounting systems
- Grant and audit exposure is a plus
