Job Description:

As a Graffiti Response Field Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the pristine beauty of
the James River Park System by promptly and effectively removing graffiti from various surfaces within
the park
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting routine patrols of the park to identify and document graffiti vandalism.
Utilizing appropriate tools and cleaning agents to remove graffiti from a variety of surfaces,
including rocks, walls, signs, and structures.
Adhering to safety protocols and using personal protective equipment (PPE) when performing
graffiti removal tasks.
Maintaining accurate records of graffiti removal activities, including locations, dates, and methods
used.
Interacts with and promotes the graffiti program with park visitors as removal work is being
conducted.
Collaborating with park staff and law enforcement agencies as needed to address instances of
repeated or severe vandalism.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in graffiti removal or related maintenance work preferred but not required.
Familiarity with graffiti removal techniques and equipment is a plus.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Comfort with repetitive tasks.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of
a team.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
