The Research Assistant with participate in various activities within theB.R.E.A.T.H. Bike & Research: Evaluation of Air for Texans' Healthgrant. In particular, they will be: 1) Assisting in Qualtrics survey management and dissemination to participants, 2) Assisting in calibration and testing of Air Quality Monitors, 3) Assisting in participants recruitment, 4) Contacting and Interacting with study participants, 5) Assisting in preparation of materials for study participants, 6) Assisting in installation of Air Quality Monitors, 7) Assisting in human subject and environmental data collection. Discipline Specific Required Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Enrollment in the Sociology MS or Disaster Studies MA program. If hired as Graduate Teaching Assistant, must have 18 hours of advanced hours in Sociology. Discipline Specific Required Qualifications: Graduate coursework in Sociology (Must Be Registered for 9hrs each semester, unless graduating). Preferred Qualification: Research or teaching experience is desirable, as well as ability to use technology to support teaching and learning.
