The School of Arts & Sciences welcomes applications for a Graduate Counseling Psychology Program Manager, who will contribute to a collegial, professional environment that is the lead support for faculty, staff and students. The Graduate Counseling Program Manager helps to coordinate and support Program Admissions and Field Placement processes as well Outreach activities. The Field Placement & Outreach Coordinator will carry out all duties as designed by the Directors of PsyD Program in Counseling Psychology and the MS Programs in Graduate Studies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Create vehicle for ongoing outreach and interface with Holy Family Counseling Psychology Alumni Maintain online time tracking system (Time2Track) for MS and PsyD students, supervisors and faculty for field placement, Maintain Time2track for all students tracking externship hours and deployment of semester evaluation forms Coordinate all programmatic events including: open houses, student orientations, graduation related activities, continuing education offerings, PsyD/MS Ethics & SJ Forums, other events ongoing Coordinate liability insurance for field placement students Meet as needed with the Directors of the MS & PsyD Programs in Counseling Meet as needed with students in the field Remain up to date relative to all program field placement procedures and paperwork Manage all field placement logistics and meet as needed with students in the field Maintain field placement and site Canvas Shells to reflect ongoing field placement activities Facilitate information sessions and application process for field placement Maintain and update the field placement handbook Collect and compile all relevant field placement data with current students and alumni Ensure all official field placement materials are current Develop new field placement sites Represent Holy Family Graduate Counseling Psychology Programs to all field partners and other third-parties Troubleshoot field placement issues as they arise and in conjunction with the Directors of the Counseling programs as appropriate Coordinate development of ongoing program initiatives Coordinate submission and approval for continuing education credentialing for MS Program (NBCC) Assist with university-wide assessment process for MS program Facilitate online portal for admissions for MS program in collaboration with the MS program director Complete educational requirements portion of application for state licensure for alumni. Manage necessary components of the admissions cycle for the PsyD program Facilitate information sessions - coordinate with Admissions Office and Program Remain up to date relative to all program externship procedures and paperwork Manage externship forms, student purchased insurance and MOI's Facilitate placement of BS students for internship year and MS students who need a placement for admission to the PsyD program Qualifications Knowledge of and ability to follow university policies and procedures. The Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the campus community, outside agencies and students. Strong interpersonal and networking skills Strong time management and organizational skills Knowledge of event planning A Bachelor's degree in a related field with relevant experience, training, and/or education OR a Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, other Social Services Discipline. 3-5 years of experience in counseling, psychology, school, higher education, or appropriate social services field Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities Proficiency with Google drive, docs, sheets and forms. Typing proficiency. Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel). Knowledge of and ability to follow university policies and procedures. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to relate to a diverse population and to maintain composure when faced with difficult situations.
