The Graduate Assistant will provide direct support to the Heminger Center/Facilities. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee and supervise a team of 20 student worker Coordinate staff schedules, training and onboarding Counterpart with Events Manager to ensure events are staffed and run smoothly Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols Monitor employee activities and provide guidance where needed Encourage a positive work environment and culture for all employees and guests Maintain records of the reportable hours of student workers to support payroll administration EXPECTED KEY COMPETENCIES Interdependence: Fosters collaboration across the University Communication: Strong decision-making and communication skills Accountability: Formulates effective and progressive strategies aligned with University mission and values Respect: Creates an engaging, collaborative classroom environment by bringing diverse students and ideas together.
