Job Description

The Global Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Manager plays a critical role in our Global P2P Business Enablement function and will help ensure established governance principles and standard processes are adhered to within the operating framework. This is a highly collaborative position that will manage all aspects of P2P to ensure proper spend controls, streamlined supplier onboarding, simple procurement, timely payment, strong cash flow, and proactive resolution of internal and external issues. The Global P2P Manager is responsible for providing operational oversight of procurement operations processing, compliance, and problem solving of various types relating to procure-to-pay transactions including requisitions, purchase orders and payment requests. The Global P2P Manager concentrates on increasing efficiency of procurement operations, with a focus on streamlining, simplifying, and automating processes across the entire P2P cycle.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Employ a customer-centric approach to providing internal and external stakeholders (i.e., process and business stakeholders and third-party suppliers) with excellent P2P support.

• Manage all aspects of P2P to ensure proper spend controls, streamlined supplier onboarding, simple procurement, timely payment, strong cash flow, and proactive resolution of internal and external issues.

• Ensure appropriate segregation of duties for P2P end-to-end processes and internal controls related to supplier onboarding and payment profiles.

• Partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Accounting, Tax, Finance, and Legal) to support stakeholders effectively.

• Develop and execute roadmap for P2P function and teams in alignment with Global Procurement organization and company goals and objectives.

• Develop and maintain P2P policies & procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to accomplish work predictably and efficiently.

• Drive use of P2P technology and automation tools to improve workload management and efficiency of service delivery.

Qualifications

Hard Skills:

• Good Understanding of Procurement methods, technologies, and processes.

• Experience in developing and writing procedures and/or work instructions.

• Proven track record of analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

• Ability to work with multiple global cross-functional teams to drive process standardization and improvement and lead digital transformation, specifically in P2P and AP Domains.

• Good understanding of SAP - MM, P2P, AP Modules.

• Strategic Mindset, with hands-on approach to the day-day business, while understanding the bigger picture.

Education & Experience
Required:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or demonstrated equivalent level of applicable experience.

• 7+ years of relevant professional experience, plus two (2) years of management experience.

• Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools for project management, analytics, and ERP systems.

• Willingness to roll your sleeves up and stay in the day-to-day business needs.

Preferred:

• Working knowledge of the Water Treatment industry, or equivalent industry equipment and systems, production process and validation.

• P2P subject matter expertise and deep knowledge of P2P systems and tools (experience with Ariba strongly preferred).

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.

Additional Information

Working Conditions

• Hybrid or Remote working condition, depending on location

• Ability to travel 10-30% of time, domestic and international.
