Position Overview:

Spencer Thomas Group (STG) is currently looking to add to our team of consultants under our Global Payroll practice.

Responsibilities:

Manages improvement for the overall effectiveness of Global Payroll.

Consults and supports processes, capabilities, systems and data for the function aligned to end-to-end value stream performance goals.

Partners to drive improvement activities within the function to deliver performance objectives of impacted value streams and improve outcomes for customers.

Stays connected within relevant industries to support advancement within the function and position the company for sustainability and growth.

Develops processes to ensure accurate and timely delivery of payroll payments and reporting in alignment with applicable policies, legislation and internal controls procedures and monitors compliance.

Develops procedures for the preparation, documentation and disbursement of payroll checks, taxes, accounting transactions and employee benefit payments.

Ensures adequate internal controls on payroll systems and keeps current with compliance on new and existing tax and other payroll related legislation.

Required Qualification(s):

3-5 years of similar experience - managing & leading global payroll teams

Proven written and oral communication skills

Experience working with multi-national organizations after a merger/divestiture

Preferred Qualification(s):

Duration: This is a project-based consulting opportunity with an immediate start date and an initial duration of 3 months, with the possibility of extending.

Level of Effort: Full time M - F, 40 hours per week

Working Hours: EST & CST
