About this Position:

As a Global Mobility Team Lead you play a pivotal role in managing associate movement across the United States and international borders. Your expertise ensures compliance with immigration and tax requirements and manages risk associated with a global workforce.


Responsibilities include:

Advisory Role

  • Provide expert advice to business units, international personnel, and assignees on domestic and international relocation policy, tax compliance, immigration, and cross-border movement.
  • Address foreign national and expatriate issues, including tax assistance.
  • Counsel through immigration processes (e.g., visa application) for global assignees, permanent international transfers, and international new hires

Liaison and Coordination

  • Collaborate closely with relocating associates, business leaders, and vendors.
  • Provide support and advice to business leaders throughout the assignee lifecycle to ensure efficient transition from home to host or permanent relocations

Planning

  • Implement and execute global strategies for domestic and international relocation, and sponsorship or foreign nationals.
  • Develop and assess programs and policies related to global mobility and immigration.
  • Provides guidance and cost projections for budget planning to internal business leaders.

Compliance and Coordination

  • Manage the end-to-end experience for new hires and existing associates permanently relocating or temporarily relocating on a domestic or global assignment.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with our vendor partners to ensure their actions align with the expectations of our organization.
  • Lead the delivery of services and support provided to relocating Executives. This role is the main point of contact and will engage directly with the internal executive population to ensure a positive experience.
  • Lead a team of mobility and immigration specialists. Coach, counsel and develop team members to position them for success.
  • Manage the escalation of operational matters and identify appropriate scalable solutions.
  • Coordinate with other departments such as Payroll, Finance, Legal, and external partners.
  • Stay informed about regulatory, tax, and compliance rules governing global mobility and immigration.
  • Coordination of a Global Assignee's repatriation into his/her home country, including consultation on the transition of benefits, compensation/payroll, etc.

Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:

  • 8 or more years of relevant HR experience

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Law, or related fields
  • Certifications such as GMS, PMP, PMI, GPHR, ERC, GRP, CPA, JD, AWS, or SPHR are preferred

Desired skills:

  • Ability to execute Associate Mobility strategy aligned with business objectives
