Senior Global IT Manager
Job Description:
The Senior Global IT Manager will play a key role in helping to expand Global IT management capabilities to support our business objectives effectively. This position requires a strong combination of technical expertise, hands-on leadership skills, and the ability to lead and mentor staff while getting great results.
Essential responsibilities include:
- Provide hands-on management and support to development teams.
- Provide management and oversight to external support vendors that handle critical systems.
- Mentor and develop team members, promoting continuous learning and professional growth.
- Provide technical leadership, guiding project teams through successful implementations and integrations.
- Demonstrate a profound understanding of Transportation, Manufacturing or Automotive Industry.
- Collaborate closely with business leaders and stakeholders to capture and understand requirements, ensuring alignment with technology solutions.
- Maintain transparent communication, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and milestones.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in IT governance, security, and risk management.
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring successful delivery within established timelines and budgets.
- Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and a culture of excellence.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization within existing systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience (10 years) in project management, specifically in ERP implementations.
- Excellent communication, Strong leadership, team management and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail.
- Excellent knowledge of project management tools and software.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
