Florim USA is a leading manufacturer of ceramic and porcelain tiles, committed to delivering top-quality products while prioritizing sustainability and safety. We are seeking a NIGHT SHIFT Glaze Line Maintenance Technician for our facility in Clarksville, TN.
REQUIREMENTS:
Educational Qualification: Qualified candidates will have a one-year certificate from college or technical school.
Experience: Minimum of one year of related experience in machinery maintenance.
Mechanical Maintenance Skills:
- Previous experience in machinery maintenance, particularly with engines, motors, and conveyor systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical devices to identify and resolve issues.
- Experience with power supply wiring and conduit installation.
- Proficiency in metalworking tools such as lathe, drill press, and grinder
Safety consciousness: Commitment to upholding safety protocols, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) for the duration of the shift, to ensure a safe working environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Glaze Line Maintenance Technician installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and equipment such as engines, motors, and conveyor systems by performing the following duties:
- Observing mechanical and electrical devices to locate causes of trouble.
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment such as engines, motors, and conveyor systems.
- Dismantling devices to remove defective parts and replacing faulty components.
- Adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments.
- Lubricating and cleaning parts and conducting performance tests on devices.
- Connecting power supply wires and cables between machines and equipment.
- Diagnosing and repairing faulty electrical and electronic components.
- Programming automated machinery and testing for malfunctions.
- Ensuring a safe workplace environment and compliance with safety standards
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
Starting Pay: $22.00 per hour, with a Night Shift Differential of $2.00 per hour.
Shift Schedule: 2-2-3 shift schedule for a predictable work-life balance.
