Position: GL Accounting Supervisor

GL Accounting Supervisor Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team covering Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in the processing of Accounts Payable invoices and expense reimbursements.
- Manage weekly check/ACH runs and submit necessary files with precision and timeliness.
- Oversee employee expense reporting and corporate credit card program.
- Prepare and review general ledger entries, including allocations and fixed assets.
- Monitor and analyze monthly AP and AR Aging reports, addressing any discrepancies.
- Coordinate the annual 1099-MISC processing and quarterly tax payments.
- Undertake special projects and other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles
- Experience in supervisory capacity
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Oracle and Concur a plus)
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders at all levels
