Overview of GIS Administrator role:
- Maintaining databases and generating reports including new and historical proposed crop usage, acreage, varieties, yields, plantings, etc.
- Develop and manage ArcGIS Desktop resources including field trial maps, project maps, and annual reporting
- Perform spatial analysis with a variety of data sources related to farming operations, crop production, water use, and land use
- Ensure data integrity throughout all GIS resources
- Coordinate with farming divisions and other departments to determine user needs, integrate data and ensure integrity of all related data
- Perform and manage field data
Experience Preferred for the GIS Administrator role: - ArcGIS experience
- Power BI, SQL, Python
