We are seeking a dedicated Genetics-focused Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the forefront of Precision Medicine. Working closely with licensed genetic counselors, physicians, and a multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive genetic healthcare services across various specialties, including prenatal genetic testing, cardiovascular genetics, hereditary cancer genetics, cancer prevention, precision oncology, and adult genetics.



• Collaborate with licensed genetic counselors, physicians, and the Medical Director to deliver comprehensive genetic healthcare services.

• Perform clinical assessments and evaluations for patients seeking genetic testing and counseling in diverse genetic specialties.

• Order and interpret genetic tests in collaboration with licensed genetic counselors, providing thorough counseling and education to patients and families regarding test results and implications.

• Develop personalized treatment plans and recommendations based on genetic testing results in collaboration with the medical team.

• Participate actively in multidisciplinary case conferences to ensure holistic patient care.

• Stay abreast of advancements in genetic medicine, contributing to the development and refinement of clinical protocols and best practices within the department.

• Engage in patient outreach and education initiatives to promote genetic awareness and preventive healthcare in the community.

• Maintain accurate medical records, documentation, and reporting in compliance with regulatory standards and clinic policies.



• Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) degree/certification.

• Strong interest in genetics and a passion for advancing knowledge and practice in Precision Medicine.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively counsel and educate patients and families on genetic concepts.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality patient care.

• Willingness to adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the field of genetic medicine.

• Experience in clinical genetics or related fields preferred, but not required. Training and mentorship will be provided and is an expected component of the role.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in genetic counseling and healthcare delivery.
