General Surgery Locums Job in Montana Seeking 24-Hour Call Coverage August - September 2024
Coverage Needs:
Specific Coverage: 7am 8/29/24 - 7am 9/5/24
Schedule: 24-Hour Call, 7am-7am
Assignment Details/Requirements :
Volume: varies
Population: Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric
Team Structure: MAs, RNs, NP/PA
Lodging: No sleep room, but housing provided by hospital within call area
EMR: Epic
Required Procedures:
Intubation and ventilator management
Surgical treatment of penetrating or crush injuries where soft tissue, musculo-skeletal or organ trauma has occurred in the chest, abdomen, pelvis and extremities open or minimally invasive
Emergent Vascular repair
Investigational or focused ultrasound (FAST)
Invasive monitoring
Elevate, diagnose, treat and provide consultation to patients presenting with multiple organ dysfunction and in need of surgical critical care for life threatening disorders
Preferred Procedures:
Lower and upper scopes
Basic laparoscopic procedures
Fine needle aspiration
Biliary procedures
Splenic procedures
Thoracentesis
Laryngoscopy
