Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Surgeon to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess an active Illinois License, Board certification and be proficient in both preoperative and postoperative care. Board certification in General Surgery is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct general surgery consultations and follow-ups in the clinic setting as requested.
- Perform standard bread and butter emergent general surgery procedures as needed in the hospital.
- Take general call duties including 24/7 availability.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system for documentation and patient management.
Requirements:
- Active Illinois License.
- Board certification, Board certification in General Surgery preferred.
- Proficiency in standard emergent general surgery procedures.
- Ability to manage preoperative and postoperative care effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
