General Supply Specialist with Security Clearance

Duties You will serve as the primary liaison for material movement. You will initiate the material needs review process. You will be responsible for the status check of all material to ensure ready for issue. You will coordinate with production and material handlers to ensure timely and convenient material delivery. You will ensure proper identification and requirements for material disposition. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications FOR GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience utilizing knowledge of governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions. Experience resolving inventory management issues concerning supply program operations. Experience coordinating the logistics of material movements during supply chain processes. Experience monitoring inventory control records using supply database programs. Experience ordering and stocking various technical supplies. FOR GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience resolving inventory management issues concerning supply program operations. Experience coordinating the logistics of material movements during supply chain processes. Experience monitoring inventory control records using supply database programs. Experience ordering and stocking various technical supplies. OR A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. FOR GS-09: Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree OR Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree OR Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to this position being filled.
