General Superintendent

IC Construction is hiring a General Superintendent to lead its growing commercial construction business. This position will manage various jobsites across the country including Dallas, Las Vegas, Kentucky, Virginia, and West Virginia. This role requires frequent travel to job sites.

In this role, you will monitor the condition of the jobsites, identify deficiencies, and work with the superintendents to establish a plan for remediation or repair. This position will oversee the Project Superintendents by monitoring productivity and task completion.

IC Construction Company is a general contractor based out of Swisher, Iowa with a branch office in New Franken, Wisconsin. In 2010 IC Construction started as a concrete subcontractor but has since expanded into providing full general contractor services, including self-performing concrete, carpentry, and steel erection trades.

Job Duties:

• Oversee projects from start to finish adhering to requirements

• Maintain communication with Project Superintendents daily

• Ensure project budget, schedule, and quality standards are being met

• Coordinate and manage contractors, supplies, and inventory

• Develop project priorities for Superintendents

• Monitor condition of jobsites and recognize deficiencies

Requirements:

• 10+ years of superintendent experience

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience

• 5+ years of project management experience

• 5+ years of experience in design build construction

• Civil engineering background desired
