The General Manager for the Americas Division is tasked with driving profitable sales growth across the region, aligning with the Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions (WMFTS) strategy and the Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc (SSE) core values. This pivotal role involves leading strategic and operational teams to ensure an efficient, effective, and productive business operation, in harmony with WMFTG's Strategy and SSE's Core Values. Key responsibilities include implementing WMFTS strategic objectives in coordination with the Divisional Director, fostering collaborative efforts across all WMFTS brands and sectors, driving organizational change, and maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction to promote business growth and customer loyalty. This role is essential in guiding the organization's success in the Americas, requiring a dynamic, strategic, and customer-focused approach.

What you'll be doing

Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a detailed sales strategy, including market and competitor analysis, to drive growth and meet targets across diverse markets in the Americas.

Digital Transformation and Technology Utilization: Lead digital transformation initiatives, leveraging technology to enhance sales effectiveness, operational efficiency, and customer engagement.

Advanced Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, tailoring strategies to meet diverse market needs and enhance customer satisfaction across the region.

Innovation and Product Development Collaboration: Actively collaborate in product innovation and development, ensuring alignment with regional market demands and trends.

Financial Management and Acumen: Oversee financial aspects including budgeting, resource allocation, and financial planning to ensure optimal use of resources and financial health of the division.

Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Lead and integrate cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and HR, to ensure cohesive strategy implementation and operational excellence.

Cultural Sensitivity and Market Adaptation: Demonstrate sensitivity to different cultures and market dynamics within the Americas, adapting strategies to suit regional nuances.

Sustainability and CSR Initiatives: Drive sustainability and corporate social responsibility initiatives, aligning with corporate values and enhancing the division's social and environmental impact.
