Brew Recruit is looking for a General Manager for a well established brewery in Central ND. The GM is responsible for overseeing the operations of a taproom that seats 200+ patrons. This includes managing staff, schedules, inventory, budgeting and assisting with inhouse events. Must have 5+ years of restaurant management experience in an extremely positive attitude and prior brewery experience is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily management of a 200+ taproom and event space
- Manage supplies and inventory
- Create and manage schedules
- Work with the Director of Marketing on existing and new events to increase traffic and grow sales
- Manage, hire, train and mentor staff (30+ ppl)
- Be the point person and the face of the customer experience
- Utilize guest metrics and data to maximize efficiencies and profitability
- Work closely with department heads to control inventory, costs and efficiencies
- Work as a team to create a world-class customer experience
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- 3+ years of management experience
- Craft beverage experience strongly preferred (beer, wine or sprits)
- Able to utilize technology and harness analytics to improve efficiency
- Preferred if certified in Food Safety Handling and Trained for Intervention Procedures (TIPS)
- Demonstrate the ability to manage labor, inventory and costs
- Work at a high pace while maintaining a high quality of service and product
