Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, maintenance, quality, and other production-related activities.
  • Oversee the manufacturing process, ensuring that production runs smoothly, is cost-effective, and meets both internal and external quality standards.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing strategies and action plans to ensure that the facility supports the company's overall objectives.
  • Lead the implementation of lean manufacturing principles, driving continuous improvement in quality, cost, and delivery metrics.
  • Prepare and control operational budgets, forecasting trends, and making corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with other departments such as Supply Chain, Engineering, and HR to ensure alignment of activities and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Foster a well-trained and motivated staff by providing guidance, coaching, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Develop and implement a robust production tracking and quality control system, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, and other operational reports.
  • Establish and maintain positive employee relations while upholding company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing management, machine manufacturing, budgeting and forecasting, and lean manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices, as well as safety and environmental regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a high performance team.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office and manufacturing software.
  • Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) will be an added advantage.
