OVERVIEW OF THE GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
- Efficiently process Accounts Payable invoices and generate Accounts Receivable invoices to maintain the financial health of our organization.
- General Ledger Accountant manages fixed assets and travel expenses, ensuring accurate accounting and compliance.
- Contribute to various project-based accounting initiatives, showcasing your adaptability and financial expertise.
- General Ledger Accountant prepares reconciliations and reports for year-end close, contributing to the accuracy and transparency of our financial records.
- General Ledger Accountant collaborates with managers to prepare budget reports, providing valuable insights into financial planning and decision-making.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNTANT:
- Intermediate Excel skills are a must to effectively manage financial data and reports.
- Good written and verbal communication skills are essential to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Associates degree in Accounting or Finance required; Bachelors preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience working as an accountant.
