Garden Center Employee Job DescriptionBasic Function: To accurately perform duties in sales and customer service follow all policies/procedures, operate the cash register and answer phones.
Essential Responsibilities
- Ensure that each customer receives outstanding customer service.
- Applicants must be able to:
• Be on your feet throughout the days
• Able and willing to in the sun and on hot days
Required Skills/Knowledge
- Ability to communicate with customers, other peers and management.
- Able to receive complaints and problems as they arise from customers.
- Basic plant knowledge or the willingness to learn about plants and gardening.
- The ability to stoop and bend
- The ability to work in the outdoors.
This position is ideal for someone who is:
• Dependable more reliable than spontaneous
• People-Oriented enjoys interacting with peoples
• Adaptable/Flexible enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction

Hours: 8:00am- 6:00pm, Monday-Sunday (40 hours per week) (Part Time 20-30 hours per week)
Must be able to work weekends Pay: $15-$20 per hour
