ROLE of the POSITION The School of Dental Medicine invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure-track Assistant/Associate/Professor-In-Residence of Clinical Sciences position available immediately. Responsibilities include tracking of a pre-doctoral curriculum in General Dentistry including pre-clinical and clinical courses and directorship; supervision and delivery of patient care and clinical research aligned with the school's mission in a team environment; service in support of the School of Dental Medicine and with the SDM's research growth. Full-time faculty serves as student mentors and provides patient and practice management guidance to them. The UNLV School of Dental Medicine is strongly community oriented and encourages faculty involvement in the school's various community programs. Intramural faculty practice opportunities are available and encouraged. QUALIFICATIONS D.M.D. or D.D.S. degree from a CODA accredited college or university with experience and expertise in the area of General Dentistry. Must be eligible for licensure in Nevada. Preferred: Three years of experience in a dental education environment. AEGD, Operative, and/or GPR experience preferred. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment. SALARY RANGE Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
