Gate Keeper

Direct Marketing Solutions is looking for a Gate Keeper to join our team. Wherever you may be in your career, DMS could be the place for you Summary: The Gate Keeper verifies and spot checks all mailings prior to leaving production. The Gatekeeper will also check the condition of the material, pallet quantity coming into a room matches the quantity on the bar code label and ensure all material/mailings match proper work order, signs and tags. Primary Responsibilities: Confirms pallet content and tray content Confirms proper signage is filled out correctly and placed with proper material and mailings Spot checks all pallets prior to sending to Mail Acceptance Verify that all mailings are within postal regulations Confirms all Local and non-palletized is properly staged for Acceptance Confirms first class mailings and single piece sign out Verifies all pallets have tray tags and signs prior to sending to Acceptance Assists with any improperly trayed material or forms Confirms all pallets are assigned to proper destinations Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience 2+ years production experience Able to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment Capable of lifting 10-100 pounds Able to work on feet for extended periods of time Detailed oriented Familiar with Postal Regulations Proficiency with common office equipment and Microsoft Office applications Schedule Options: Days: Monday-Friday from 6:30am-2:30pm Overtime required as necessary Pay: Competitive rates Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life Insurance eligibility available 1st of the month following 30 days.
